Very good steaks and sides deserts amazing.. 1st visit can happily recommend it and return
First off, the steaks are amazing.. not cheap but good nonetheless. The chips and sides are okay.. fairly standard same too with the starter.Eating out is more than the food. It's the whole experience. It wasn't bad.. but due to its reputation I was expecting more. We had a starter as well as a main and we were done in less than an hour. We were sat in a corner, my only view was a magnolia wall and the over table lighting is far too bright.So whilst we had a fine time we weren't blown away by the experience as a whole.
Went her for Christmas lunch. Brilliant food and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely go back here with my family.
Very nice sized and clean double room overlooking the fields. Amazing food if you like grilled meat as the chef cuts and cooks it to your preference. Great selection of wines and great service. The breakfast is also very good. I highly recommend.
One of the few "treat" places left. A wonderful place to either have a well deserved pint after a long walk, a treat celebratory dinner for a special occasion or night away in one of the modern and clean rooms.It's not cheap but it is value for money. You won't get steak like it anywhere else - nor the opportunity to select your cut from the meat counter. Staff are friendly and attentive yet they give you space to enjoy your meal. Wonderful.
